Blueberry Lavender Lemon Drop Martini - the Lit Fairy Halloween Cocktail
💫 The Lit Fairy Cocktail Martini
Blueberry Lavender Lemon Drop Magic from The Boozy Mermaid Halloween Series
Some cocktails are just too pretty for words — and this one literally lights up the night. ✨
The Lit Fairy Cocktail Martini is my whimsical twist on a blueberry lavender lemon drop — glittery, color-changing, and perfect for your Halloween parties (or any night that needs a touch of fairy dust). It’s part of The Boozy Mermaid’s Halloween Series, where every drink is a little bit spooky, a lot of fun, and absolutely party-perfect.
🧚♀️ What Makes It “Lit”
This cocktail shines — literally. The secret?
✨ Butterfly Pea Flower Powder (anything that contains them will change from blue to purple when mixed with citrus!)
✨ Edible cocktail glitter for shimmer under the lights
✨ Real Blueberry Purée for that vibrant, rich flavor
✨ Lavender syrup to add soft floral notes
✨ A lemon twist coated in sparkle
When light hits it, the drink changes color and sparkles like something out of a fairy tale — or one of my favorite Charleston nights behind the bar.
🍋 The Fairy Vodka Infusion
To begin, this cocktail starts with the Fairy Vodka, an easy infusion that’s as beautiful as it is magical.
Ingredients
1 bottle vodka
⅓ cup Butterfly Pea Flowers
A few shakes of edible cocktail glitter
Instructions
Pour a few ounces of vodka out of the bottle to make space.
Add the butterfly pea flowers directly to the bottle (or infuse in a mason jar).
Let sit for about 2 hours
Strain the flowers out using a double strainer, and pour vodka back into the bottle.
Add a few shakes of glitter and swirl — it’s officially Fairy Vodka. 🧚♀️

🧁 Party-Perfect Options
Because The Boozy Mermaid is all about making party-perfect cocktails for every season, here’s some additional variations on the Hallween Lavender Martini above:
✨ A Blueberry Lavender Lemonade mocktail version (remove vodka, add 1.5 oz water and serve over ice).
✨ A lavender-vanilla cocktail syrup for those who love a cozy twist, in place of the Monin (see link here)
✨ A DIY lavender-vanilla vodka infusion if you want to take it up a notch (you can reduce amount of Monin to .25 oz)
💜 Why I Love It
The Lit Fairy Cocktail was inspired by my favorite handmade costume — the Lit Fairy — complete with glowing lights and a hidden drink bottle (yes, you could sip through fairy wings!). It’s a drink that celebrates creativity, confidence, and just the right amount of extra.
From glowing drinks to glowing memories — this is what The Boozy Mermaid is all about.
