The Boozy Mermaid is excited to introduce Charleston Cocktail Experiences —a Charleston-born company committed to providing elevated, interactive cocktail experiences in the Lowcountry. These experiences include rooftop cocktail classes, hosted on one of Charleston’s original rooftops and across select partner venues throughout the city.
Led by award-winning mixologist and Charleston local Rochelle Jones, these cocktail classes are designed to feel social, immersive, and effortlessly refined. Expect great energy, beautifully crafted cocktails, and a relaxed pace that allows you to enjoy the experience — not rush through it.
This is not a lecture-style class. It’s a celebration of cocktails, connection, and Charleston.

A fun & social cocktail experience celebrating everyone’s favorite after-dark drink. Guests will create three espresso martini–inspired cocktails while enjoying rooftop vibes, great music, and a relaxed, social atmosphere. Perfect for Valentine’s Week, Galentine’s nights, and espresso martini lovers looking for something elevated and fun to celebrate the week of love in Charleston!
Party Club Cocktail Class
Playful, feminine, and party-perfect. This bright, bubbly cocktail class features three brightly-hued cocktails that are as delicious as they are Instagram-worthy. Perfect for Galentine’s celebrations, hosted events, bachelorette weekends, and girls’ trips . As fun as it is informative, this high-energy cocktail class is going to provide memorable experiences and some bar know-how for you to take home!
Wild Things Cocktail Class
Bold flavors, unexpected ingredients, and a little drama. The Wild Things Cocktail Class explores adventurous, statement-making cocktails inspired by rich spirits, spice, smoke, and show-stopping garnishes. Designed for guests who love cocktails with personality and a touch of the unexpected. Think bourbon, Chartreuse, Amaro, and Aperol, Mezcal…you never know what you’re going to get in the Wild Things class!

Charleston Cocktail Experiences will soon offer offsite curated cocktail experiences, private cocktail classes and mobile bartending, bringing the same elevated style and thoughtful cocktail programming to private homes, Airbnbs, weddings, brand events, and special celebrations.
