A Little Charleston in Your Cocktail Glass
I’m Rochelle, the Charleston maker and bartender behind The Boozy Mermaid. Thank you for letting my handmade creations be part of your evening! Here are three cocktails to shake, sip, and share at home.
Lavender Elderflower Martini
Floral lavender, bright lemon, and a little elderflower—an elegant cocktail for your next gathering.
For one cocktail:
2 oz vodka ( be sure to reach for a Charleston-made vodka!)
½ oz St-Germain elderflower liqueur
1 oz lavender simple syrup
¾ oz fresh lemon juice
Lemon twist, to garnish
Add the liquid ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake well, then strain into a chilled martini glass or coupe. Finish with a lemon twist.
Make it easy: Bottled lavender cocktail syrup works, too.

Charleston After Dark
Chai Espresso Martini
A coffee-forward martini with a touch of warming chai spice.
For one cocktail:
1½ oz Cannon Early Bird coffee vodka
½ oz Cannon Chai Noon vodka
1 oz freshly brewed espresso, cooled
Optional: ¼ oz simple syrup, to taste
Three coffee beans, to garnish
Add the vodkas and espresso to a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds, then strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with coffee beans.
Sweetness tip: Early Bird already contains sugar, so start without the extra syrup.
Front Porch Fizz
Firefly Sweet Tea & Lemon
Sweet tea, lemonade, and a splash of bubbles. Made for slow afternoons and good company.
For one cocktail:
1½ oz Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka
3 oz lemonade
1 oz chilled club soda
Lemon slice and fresh mint, to garnish
Fill a tall glass with ice. Add the vodka and lemonade, stir, then top with club soda. Finish with lemon and mint.
